Out of the’ ‘following statements, choose the one that brings out the principle underlying the Cabinet form of Government : (a) An arrangement for mimmizing the criticism against the Government whose responsibilities are complex and hard to carry out to the satisfaction of all. (b) A mechanism for speeding up the activities of the Government whose responsibilities are increasing day by day. (c) A mechanism of parliamentary democracy for ensuring collective responsibility of the Government to the people. (d) A device for strengthening the hands of the head of the Government whose hold over the people is in a state of decline.
For option c, many answer keys and students are considering it right. But what does the highlighted portion in option c tell you. Probably people have overlooked the 'responsibility of the govt' part. This was a question also in one of the previous year's exam, and also people will know it that CoM (means the govt) is collectively responsible to the lok sabha in particular and parliament in general. It further means that this option c in itself is wrong, has been put there to confuse candidates into a trap. Now it's anybody's guess as to what would be the right answer to this question. Debates are welcome.
I have marked b as answer. Cabinet has been formed to make governance hasslefree. in Modi's words it's aim is'"minimum government, maximum governance " Besides CoM is already a constitutional body and its collective responsibility was already mentioned by the framers. So y was it necessary to introduce cabinet subsequently? Because of increasing work load and dynamic situations.
Exactly. As per the previous questions of upsc pre and also I just asked pavan sir of pubad too. He says the same.
Matlab jab easy Laddu type paper tha, tab bhi Cut off 116.
Jab Ekdam Tough confusing paper hai, tab but Cut off 113-117.
हर हालत में ज़्यादा कट ऑफ मार्क्स ही होंगे, भले ही कुछ भी हो जाये,,,, ऐसा मनोवैज्ञानिक प्रभाव धीरे धीरे हरजगह फैलने लगा है
i agree but seats are less bro. Lat year seats were increased and this year already 100 less seats. Also, this exam has become lottery. Out of 30000 serious aspirants...every 1/4 students ka tukka lag sakta hai in 4 options and ur scores increase.
These 30000 people have calibre of 100 marks and on their day, 4 questions can take scores to 112 arnd...but i still wish cutoff less than 105...upsc shud increase intakes and give opportunity to atleast 50% serious junta

Collective responsibility of cabinate might b applicable in presidential form of govt... not in parlimentary system.. we already got council of ministers..
sahi hai, because right to elected wala sath me hai, warna galat ho jata tumhara
bhai tumko 1 baat batata hu .. UPSC never gives half statement correct and half false.. its not vision ias
last year ek IFC bond ka Q tha.. private and public.. uss par bahot hua tha public nhi hota ka drama.. answer ab sab jante h (though keys not out)
LOl,when did i say half statement is corect n half false?i m saying right to vote is both legal n constitutional, and right to get elected is only legal,so both r legal. baaki as i said,my knowledge base is very less,so wont argue on it.
bhai i usually am very sober and every one here knows this.. but i want to tell u one thing
not only ur knowledge base is less but also u talk absurd..
and dont think this is to get my answer crrect.. i am scoring decent enough to clear.. but tumhari baatein badi ajeeb lagi
hahaha insecurity or frustration? keep ur absurdity with urself. baaki i have seen u behaving like a jumping jack on various thread trying to prove all ur answrs correct.which obviously i m not doing.moreover i said in my very first statement that i dont have indepth knowldge of this question and i m explaing y i marked it so and so.keep ur frustration with urself.
Ab ladai mat Karo yaar.. Constitutional rights wo hote h Jo Constitution m mentioned hain.. like all FR, right to property, right to universal adult suffrage etc.. Legal rights wo hain Jo kisi act k through enforceable h.. they are not mentioned in the Constitution explicitly.. like right to information, right to marry, right to adopt a child, right to work etc..
Bhot saare Constitutional rights including FRs ko enforce krne k liye acts bnaye jaate h bcoz all rights are not automatically enforceable.. for ex- for abolition of untouchability protection of civil rights act bna h( ab yha he to nhi kahoge ki ye FR bhi hai aur legal bhi) I hope you understand the basic objective of FRs.. similarly art 325,326 ko enforce krne k liye RP Act bna h.. for state and general elections.. president and vice president k kaam direct Constitutional provision se chal jaata h.. local govts Ka bhi mention hi hai..
Matlab jab easy Laddu type paper tha, tab bhi Cut off 116.
Jab Ekdam Tough confusing paper hai, tab but Cut off 113-117.

Bhai 90% junta .already haar maan chuki h below 90. mushkil se cat1500-2000(all categories included) logo k 120+ hai..I believe 135 of last year is 120 of this year or may be low. cat 2- 2000-4000 ka chunk hoga 110-115 me,but since cat 1 and 2 contains obc, some sc/st cut off will be down again for general by 2 -3 points atleast and 1-1.5 points for paper2,believe me there are some people. fir aise hi obc,sc,st . My take on cut off Gen 107 Obc 101 Sc 96 St 94..considering number of people will be more at below score also seats of obc,sc,st are less only 1000 for St.
Bhai log forest ka kya scene hai.. mera 118 ban rahe hai
Bhai scene ka toh pata nahi mujhe ,,, par itna zaroor pata hai ki , jo ek har saal ka Fixed Niyam rehta tha na , ki CSE and IFOS mein , chaahe kuch bhi ho jaaye , 14-15 marks ka difference toh hoga hi , ...
Aisa kuch bhi is saal NAHI hone waala ......
CSE ka jo bhi cut off hoga , jo bhi , usse hardly 6-7 marks hi upar jaayega IFOS ka cut off , yaa kya pata , uske baraabar bhi chala jaaye .
