Should i resign from my job for mains preparation?

Hi Guys,

last year, i cleared prelims and wrote mains. However i could not get enough time to prepare for mains properly.
I am thinking of resigning from my current job so that i can prepare full time.

I have 4 years of experience in software so it should not be difficult to get a job later. But still i dont know why i am confused.
Those who have quit job to prepare for mains, please give some advice.
I cant get even 1 month leave. if i had an option for 3 months leave i would not be thinking about it.

  • Never quit the job that u have...even if u hav enormous experience.

+1. Take 1 month leave. Exam is unpredictable.
  • A big NO. It is not recommended to quit job for CSE in so much chaos.
  • Is baar jinhone mains nikala hai along with a job, koi thoda gyan de do bhai ki kaise time manage kiya kitna time nikal paya on an average. Yahan sala naukri karke ghar aane ke baad itna thak jate hain ki 2-3 ghante se jyada padh hi nahi pa rahe hain. Naukri chor bhi nahi sakte. Sala dhobi ka kutta ban gaye hain.
  • Thanks guys. All recommendations are for not leaving the job. So i will think about it. I do have support of family at this point.
  • Dont leave job .....jitna time hai usme maximum output dene ki koshish karein
  • In your case don't quit job..

Anyone in BANK PO .. who cleared last year with job? Means really with job by managing time, not like took leave for mains for 2-3 month and joined then.
    Koi hai aise divya purus/mahila?

Aisi divya-aatmaayein 100 saal main 1-2 Baar hi avtaar leti hain.. 20-30 saal or intezaar karein.. tab shayad hamare bacchon ke CSE dene tak koi mil jaaye.
