A person having undescended testicles eligible for IAS ?

Hi
I need information regarding eligibility of an undescended testicles person for IAS post?
If any doctor plz suggest me.
I have gone through appendix-3 medical rules it's showing however possibility of undescended testicles ruled out. I need to know what are the conditions to ruled out a person from all the cader eligibility. Can I put hopes n prepare for IAS?

Thanks

  • Please have a look in the statement regarding age limit criteria with this year and previous years.I applied mentioning by DOB as 22-07-1984 instead of 1982 .It eventually works but it's not my actual DOB . I have been trying to contact upsc but still not able to do so.Last year my age was 34 and I thought 2017 would be my last attempt but how on earth it is not possible. Its because of their jargon in defining the age eligibility criteria that person like me can't appear this prestigious exam.

Bro I think UPSC have changed cutoff date for age to 1 August. I would suggest you to call UPSC help centre to clear the doubt.

similar query - what does "ruled out" mean here ..... "absence of one Testis in the scrotum should be declared 'Fit'.
However possibility of undescended testis is to be ruled out".

If anyone with medical background plzz clarify, whether undescended testis can be a ground for medical disqualification.
