need a perfect strategy for current affairs and gs revisioning

guys i gave two attempts ,this is my third attempt after a break about couple of years,i have to say that i almost lost touch in current affairs and g.s,the thing is i was trying to cover the whole polity for last two weeks, but ive completed till supreme court in laxmi kanth,i came to delhi to give this year attempt
some one pls suggest me that is it
right to attend any crash courses or it is waste of time!!!!i mean would self planning, and study would do ???
should i attend any current affair classes to cover last 6 month current affairs?
please throw some light guys, cant sleep with this instinct that oscillates between TO BE OR NOT TO BE
