Rules for posting 1. be articulate 2. be considerate...post in ENGLISH afap. dont change language in the middle of the sentence..its irritating 3. for quotes in particular..just don't google and post out of context lines here..post something u really enjoyed 4. it can be important for the 'HOBBY' part of the interview..so remember it not a futile exercise
few of my favourite stanzas are from 'the Prelude' by Willaim Wordsworth
"Unveiled the summit of Mont Blanc, and grieved To have a soulless image on the eye That had usurped upon a living thought That never more could be"
i first came across these lines in the novel 'Disgrace' by J.M.Coetzee (Nobel winner) it has deep meaning. in this the poet says that he is disappointed by the actual site of the mountain which has replaced his 'thoughts' of the mountain
sometimes in life u want certain things very badly (like civil services, a Benz). once u get it, sometimes u feel "now what?" are certain things and dreams best left to realms of thought than actually pursuing it? Currently am enjoying the thought of 'whats it like to be a civil servant?'
Guys please fill the info in the format..it will be nice to know who u are in this particular period of ur life..and also might give inspiration/ introduction of ideas to others if possible give reason why do u like it

I've tried this several times as an engg. undergrad. And I'll be completely honest with you here - in such type of posts most people brag and boast. Some of them will tell their favorite book, quote, poem etc. to be something very exotic, about which they heard only once or twice !!

@jack_dawson fair enough mate....i cant agree with u more on people trying to project the most exotic things as their favourites but just see the comments below, some people are true to their heart. but even if a exotic thing is projected, somebody else can take a run at it!
