Whenever your productivity is high, that time is the best time for studying. Since you've already been through the rigmarole of school and college studies, you must know by now when that time is! Personally, my best time is between 9pm- 2Am.

That might be because you are sacrificing sleep in order to study all night. No matter when you study, ensure that you sleep for >6 hours. If you want to study at night, then sleep from lunch to dinner.
Its totally a personal choice. If you do like to study at night then make sure that you get enough sleep hours during the day.If you sleep less it shapes into headaches n all sort of irritating problems. Cheers ;-)

I am sure that who so ever is speculating the prelims result, is not gonna stand good in the final rankings. (the syllabus is also new this year )
