IBPS PO III : Change: No 60% required. Age limit is 30 now

edited September 2013 in Banking
Such a great good news all my brothers and sisters!
IBPS has anulled its minimum 60% in graduation criteria and also the age limit has increased from 28 to 30.
I am happy for all those talented people who had all the capabilities to be a PO but could not even apply because this rule. Now they can!!!
IBPS now has a wider pool of talents to choose from!
All graduates are equal now.
Healthy for the system in everyway.
Once again my trust has been restored in the Indian Competitive exams system.
Once again it is proved that grads marks are in no way related/decisive to achieve success.
A person should not be judged just on the basis of his/her grad marks.

Good luck everyone.

Best regards,
Sheen.

IBPS has arrived to a consensus on an issue for which we were upset with IBPS.

  • Change has been done to hire more people in banking due to high requirement of professionals :) ... Its good for everyone...
  • Thank god for that! Smart move to change their decision. I hear youth in places like Patna/Bhagalpur/Lucknow/Allahabad did not react too well to the original plan.

Thanks a lot brother. Without your information, I would not have come to know about this change.
  • youth in places like Patna/Bhagalpur/Lucknow/Allahabad did not react too well to the original plan as if in other places "youth" don't score below 60%.
  • Can anybody tell me the calendar of the exam, specifically the final date of joining the alloted bank? Are gd/interview held in every city?

    thanks
