Nookoo yaar baba join karne ki soch rha tha..money is not the constraint..time is more valuable to me..unka first batch,so I thought it would be good..what's your take on this?
I have nothing against IASBABA nor Insights or any other coaching Manufacturing Units or Outsourcing Plants which have acquired fruition over the years.
I will only say that they are trying to do a lot of things which a normal aspirant wont be able to cover and it will result in overload and hence more pressure. Its not only abt the money as someone has iterated above, its abt the time.
They will bring many Toppers, mentors and what not but I dont feel and I would be glad if I am wrong if they bring faculties for teaching per se. Its my hunch that it will be one-to-one guidance sessions and nothing more as per my insider info and if you are totally juvenile about CSE or a complete novice then only join them.
The best thing is what Jasmeet Sir did. He never joined a test series. He read topic-wise, saw previous years questions, made notes also in topic wise fashion and revised them vehemently.
Before exam, he took all the test series from the market and then solved them with his peers. So thats the current contemporary attitude that should be there in an aspirant.
If I really really feel you dont have an ambience and aap khud se nahi kar paoge tab beshak Jaaiye IASBABA and may You clear. As I said I have nothing against these people nor Insights nor am I associated with anyone. I am an independent individual.
Also one thing which very few people know and I write this in Bold for the Benefit of the Student Fraternity Kindly read this:- You dont know but I had seen myself and a few of my friends too that IASBABA was itself loathed and targeted/ spewed around when it started its setup by two stalwarts-INSIGHTSONINDIA and ForumIAS. Now every body knows that IASBABA has branched out from INSIGHTS and that's none of our concern. Its privy to them. But FORUM people and I wont name them started banning threads and content related to IASBABA in this site when people started asking for reviews and I am not making this up. You can see old threads. Forumias is also not a saint. It is just providing us an escape mechanism and thereby increasing its brand value. Nothing more. Its pure business and each one of them are trying to outsmart the other.
And thats why, just because of this reason for the benefit of the aspirants community to which I too belong, I am saying dont join anyone of them. You too take advantage from each of them. Be tactful and smart in your own way.
Or else, as I said earlier, if you lack appropriate CSE ambience and aura at your vicinity, kindly go join wherever you find such competence. IASBABA on that ground wont be a problem.
P.S. I hope there wont be a deluge of incoming debate on this comment of mine. Its just a suggestion. Feel free to agree or disagree at your own will. I wanted to be conscientious with newbies. That's all.
Exam clear karne ke baad sab ko credit de dena bhale hi chahe IASBABA/FORUMIAS/INSIGHTS etc etc. But dont rely totally on anyone:- crux of the whole episode. pick up the good things, utilise and leave.
Source:- Called for content writing and all that by 1st FORUMIAS then INSIGHTS then IASBABA then BYJUs and later by Banking and SSC blogs such as Career power, bankers adda and Gradestack. Joined none and working Independently. All these are my own private opinions.
Arey ek number ka chhor hai IAS Baba .. Galti se ya akalmandi se bhi mat join krna. Sirf lootega!
Addendum:- I want to take this comment back because it hushed out it in a derogatory manner. It was not germane to the conversation. Also, it looks like someone is propagating hate speech. So, though I hold onto my views, calling names(chhor) is bad which I think is unjustified. Being a mature individual, I had to do this.
