Why no Tropical Cyclones in Arabian Sea?

Why are Tropical Cyclones Absent in Arabian Sea but present in east coast/BoB? :/

Comments

  • Some reasons:
    1. Higher sea surface temparature becaz of sea stratification as many rivers are flowing in to Bay of bengal unlike Arabian sea.
    2. Less salinity in Bob.
    3. Varied pressure gradient in Bay of bengal as most of it land locked .
    4. easterly trade wind direction results in dissipation of cyclone energy in Arabian sea .
  • Haaye ye jaalim questions
  • sab mithya hai.ata hai udhar bhi...pata nahi chalta :D
  • aise udhar ata hai,par kam ata hai...last year aya tha..aur kuch ka pata nahi chalta utna...tropical cyclonesmove east to west..to hamara kuch damage nahi hota...bay of bengal wale touch karte hain isliye jyada damage hota hai...kam aney ke reasons upar mentioned hain.
  • Cyclone east to west kyu jaata hai??
Coriolis force ki wajah se ya trade winds ki wajah se?
  • first of all plz replace 'no' with 'fewer'.1-Arabian sea is colder than bob hence tropical cyclone generated is weak and get exhausted before reaching.2- Arabian sea is more landlocked.lucid☺
  • Cyclone east to west kyu jaata hai??
Coriolis force ki wajah se ya trade winds ki wajah se?
Trade winds ki east to west direction bhi coriolis ki wajah se hoti h
  • Cyclone east to west kyu jaata hai??
Coriolis force ki wajah se ya trade winds ki wajah se?
Tropical Cyclone moves east to west because of Trade winds and
Anticlockwise rotation in NH is due to coriolis effect.
  • Why are Tropical Cyclones Absent in Arabian Sea but present in east coast/BoB? :/
Not absent but few. Reasons already mentioned above.
