Congratulations everyone! Just a small request to those posting about the obc and other prep related issues, kindly refrain from posting here. Already plenty of fb interview groups have swung to these discussions. Lets keep this thread for interview prep alone. 2ndly I am a girl and not very comfortable giving out my no for whatsapp gps. So, it will be great if we can discuss everything up here. Interviews will start frome August 1 (raj patrika chairman's stmt) Those of you who have had a previous interview experience with RPSC can come post about the whole process. I will try to contibute as much as possible.
Congrats and thanks to @TAR for clearing mains and helping us. Congratulations @ghostrider2016 ! And every other person who got selected But now we should move ahead! With upsc in hand, how should we prepare for interviews ? Should we join any coaching which conducts mock interviews or not? If yes ,then do you know any good insti for that? Besides I would like to ask about three (personal) problems of mine too. 1st,I am a thin guy, with 5'9 height and only 63 KGS wright(That too I recently gained ,left workout Bcz prep me baadha aa rahi thi) People tell me that I look immature and face looks kiddish. I know this affects the interviewers, they select mature individuals there and like every other phase of life ,facevalue plays a disproportionate but big role! How can I tackle this?
2nd,Graduate hue/engg bane 3 saal ho gaye, tab se kuch nahi kiya h ,no work-ex. Uska kya karu, will it affect my chances of selection?
3rd how can I increase my reading speed? Upsc aa raha h Aur meri reading speed bht dheere h,mera beech beech me idhar udhar dhyaan jaata rehta hai,kya karu iska ! Try and help guys ,this may help others too
thank you bro..congrats to you too. interview ki padhai to date aane ke baad hi karenge, will not leave upsc preparation in any case even if i amnt able to prepare for interview. jaipur me rehte ho to mock zaroor dena...newspaper me ads dekhte rehna, mil jaega achcha instt..
regarding your personal problems..you are your only savior here.
1) yaar ye concept to tum bilkul naya laaye ho..I can assure you that interviewer wants to see young and fresh faces...so its actually an advantage. weight aur badhana hai to gym jao aur whey protein khao.
2) will not effect if you have a proper explanation for that, bol dena ki civils ki taiyaari kar rahe ho as it was your childhood dream.
3) reading speed badhane ka sabse achcha tarika to newspaper reading hai, but i am sure u must be doing it..agar dhyan bhatakne ka locha hai to daily targets decide karo (thode bade) and feel pressurized to complete them...
I came to know that there would be a GD also. 3 minutes will be given to every member of group(10 members in a group) to speak on a given topic. They can ask question from that discussion. Although no separate marks are fixed for GD.
