I have read it somewhere that there are some positive effects of ELNino phenomenon which are listed below- Fewer hurricanes and other tropical cyclones in the north Atlantic Milder winters in southern Canada and the northern continental United States. Replenishment of water supplies in the southwestern U.S. But I am not able to figure out the reason behind this. Can anybody explain about this phenomenon.
