  • @Mags_Tell Mine also shows New. No Idea about it. Although I did receive an SMS stating that my application has been accepted. Haven't you received the same?
    @YudiRathore No Idea bro.
  • Guys, Exam is on 26/10/2013, Best of luck, FYI PFA

    @Maxi
    I didn't receive any message, Is this because I used E-Mitra mode of payment?
  • @Vazu I also opted for e-mitra mode of payment. Received the message around two weeks post submission of the form. No clue about why you not received the sms.
  • i too had paid through e.mitra.... its not been two weeks yet ... thanks @Maxi

  • @Maxi @Vazu I have a doubt regarding applying for State civil sevices. I could not qualify civil sevice prelims this time. Also being on wrong side of age, have only two years and 3 attempts left. So if i prepare hard and got through state services can i will be able to live with it throughout life. Means whats are its prospects. Also do we get chance to prepare for upsc after joining it. Please reply it is out of context but really needed your suggestions please. I am thinking to apply for RPSC and JPSC.

    I dont get you , but if its separate categories is what you are asking about : Women have separate number of seats ( reservation ) . TSP SC ST are from rajasthan state ( preference ) SC ST from all other states .. wd - widowed , dv - divorced .. dont remember sbc - google or look at the detailed advertisement of last time .. you'll find it ..

    Anything else ?

    Does that mean normal applicants OBC and ST have higher cut offs than normal in General category .
  • @Mags_Tell @Vazu SBC means Special Backward Class.

    And yes, last time in the result declared first wherein the cut-offs were as mentioned on the webpage, OBC & ST had higher cut-off than general class but as far as I remember there was certain controversy in this result as the scaling was done in the marks of General Studies paper as well in accordance the applicable scaling in optional paper which was against the rule and hence the result was revised and declared again. So, not sure whether the cut-off mentioned by you were revised one or earlier one. But yes as the population % of OBC & ST and accordingly the competition level is quite high there is kind of clash in cut-offs in OBC, ST & General in Rajasthan. I remember at my time when I cleared RPET (Pre-Engineering Test) OBC cut-off was just a few marks less than General and at that time as well it was debated. In UPSC, the population and applicants are at national level whereas in state level exams it's the state ones only. Hence, the case. :)

    Doesn't changed in the proper sense, nice to see OBCs scoring high.
