Now, I'm confused with in, which format should I get my certificate made? All the earlier discussions/threads on forum hints about Earlier format but what about revised one? Is it applicable?
There is another case: In my state, revised format is being issued easily by e-mitra service but for earlier format you need to visit the authority office itself and make a special request to them.
I showed the certificate in the old format at the time of interview for ESE in December 2015. Our mee-seva center (e-seva centers of our state) provided me the certificate in the old format in Dec 2015. I cleared the exam and my number was not there in the provisional or conditional numbers' list. So at least till December 2015 there was no issue with the old format. I don't know about CSE this year. But they will allow you for interview with any of the two formats. Also if there is an issue UPSC gives enough time for providing certificates in required formats after the publication of result. So I think any format would be ok for interview/Mains DAF and you may provide the revised format also.
