Suggesations for Economic Survey(especially) and India Year Book coaching classes.

I have read some 10-12 pages of Vol 1....I was not feeling much comfortable....so i went through the 'Economic Survey discussion thread' to get some tips on how and what all to read ....but to my surprise the level and depth of discussion made me feel much more pathetic....(earlier i used to think that we have to just get some overview from E.S)!!
I appeared for this year mains(1st attempt, no coaching) although with just basic level of preparations, so as obvious could not clear.....also I did not read last year's E.S..........
I saw a flyer about E.S & IYB classes by SAHIL SAINI (Foundation IAS).........any idea about this coaching/class.....would it be fruitful.....or is there any better option???? kindly help me out.
