This Is What Passengers Have Done To Modi’s Mahamana Express In Just 1 Week

It was as recent as January 22 when Narendra Modi flagged off the all new Mahamana Express, the superfast train that would ply between Delhi and Varanasi in just 14 hours.

Named after Benaras Hindu University co-founder Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya - popularly known as Mahamana or a ‘great human being’ - the Mahamana Express is touted as the first major upgrade in facilities and design of passenger trains in India.








But it seems like the passengers needed just one week to take the train from swanky to stinky.

These photos from Dainik Bhaskar show the train in an utterly deplorable condition:




















The next time we want to blame the authorities about something, let's think of this. What about all the things we do? We as citizens should be ashamed of ourselves if this is how we're going to treat public property. Especially a brand new train that is supposed to herald a new-line of superfast trains.

ha aap jaise log bhi hain kuch jo regionalism pe utar aate hain... koi accha point dene se accha sabse easy way dekh liya aapne.. up bihar ki isme koi fault nahi hain. ye har jagah ka hain.

jab tak logo ko ye ehsaas nahi hoga ki railway unhi ki hain , ye hota hi rahega.. aapne kaunsi saaf train dekhli aaj tak? journey khatm hone pe saari train gandi hi hoti hain. there should be campaign sort of thing to educate people..

You see ..If any of opposition party has to quell the efforts of current government which it is doing for modernisation of railways..How much effort would be needed to do such kinda stuff..a groups of 10 people can make a train dirty and take pics..

gaaliyan kya deni is baat pe.. main toh pure india mein reh chuka hu.. kahi bhi aaj tak ek train nahi mili jo journey khatm hone pe saaf bachi ho.. har cheez laaton se nahi hoti.. rpf ka kaam ye nahi hain ki wo saaf safaaai dekhe.. jo kaam hain wo bhi unse nahi hota hain

india mein har cheez ka solution education hi hain.. logo ko education k time pe ye sab bhi batana chahiye.. warna ac dibbo ka traveller ho ya sleeper ka-- gandagi hogi hi. ye koi state specific baat toh ho hi nahi sakti.. itni tourism pe ad bante hain waise hi railway ko bhi saaf safaai pe ad nikaalne chahiye..
