First buy any basic book of Sanskrit Grammar and start reading it. Read it atleast 3-4 times and try to answer past years UPSCs First paper's Q1. This is fundamental and will help you to fetch good marks in Essay and Unseen Passage specially in paper-1 . Paper 2 is completely Literature part, for that you can go and purchase Kailash Vihari Sirs or Rajendra Sir's, available in market. Syllabus is brief and concise. After a 1-2 reading , you can read specific topics for more value addition. Here, Paper 1 is the Key and strong understanding of Grammar is inevitable.
