Hi,I am preparing for UPSC 2016 attempt. Can anyone tell me about Majid Husain classes for Geo optional.I saw an ad for Geo classes at Unique Shiksha, how's that?
Also please guide me regarding some good notes for the exam.I am preparing from NCERT books is that enough?
1. No that wont be enough 2. This question has been asked before 3. Good notes would be Neetu Singh - she dictates every word and makes you write like crazy. her notes are as good as her class, so notes will do. 4. Majid Hussain is a decent teacher. He is an old name, not very highlighted, but knows stuff. You can go ahead with him. 5. Try titling your threads more appropriately - like is Majid Hussain a good geography teacher?
NCERT will not suffice for mains, question were asked in mains is hard core geography which is not covered in ncert. I heard from co-fellows that Neetu singh does not cover second paper exhaustively bcs there are many more diagrams compare to 1st paper. 1st paper is concept based and hence less diagrams. You can see Ajay raj singh's video on u tube, his concept clarity is unparallel. There are numerous coaching, choose wisely.

There are numerous coaching, choose wisely.
I watched his geography gs videos @5900 pen drive containing around 200 videos...
His conceptual clarity is excellent.. geography flows in his blood .. u won't regret if u enroll in his course
Don't know about any other geography teacher.. but he is very good ..
