economic survey and IYB old version suggession

Hello everyone,
Considering that there is still some time left for the new economic survey and IYB to come. I would like to know whether there is anything from the previous year versions of these books, which can be read till the newer versions come out(something, that does not change much and is still relevant). 2016 is going to be my 1st attempt, and i have no idea how to read them; moreover, i have heard that both the reads take much time once they are launched. Please guide me through this.

Modi Sarkar aane ke baad se, jo sabse pehli India Year Book aayi hai, wo thi IYB 2015..

And IYB 2016 abhi kuch mahine baad aa jaayegi market mein..

Dono hi years ke issues mein koi bahut zyada antar nahi rahega.... To, isiliye agar aap chahe, to IYB 2015 se abhi kuch samaya ke liye padh sakte hain....

IYB ko kafi saare log zyada nahi padhte hain... Lekin maine to padha tha aur bahut acche se padha tha..

else if you are into reading, then finish eco survey firstpart end to end reading, with some exceptions, it has some important concepts and directions where economy might head in furture.
iam not a very big fan of IYB because while you mgiht read it now, you will find it very difficult to revise before exams, my suggestion, get a new vishal synopsis of india year book...i found it very useful.
baki watch out for e book version of IYB from 2016 onwards it might just be useful for reference.
