Regarding leave from PSU for Mains

Friends I have taken out station leave permission from office for 6 days for my hometown and after 3 days days I intimated them that I have fallen ill through mail.In response my boss emailed me that Medical certificate from govt. hospital should be produced immediately otherwise this period will be treated as unauthorized absence from duty.I will join after 23rd December. So, approximately 3 weeks will pass.I have not responded to his mail.What could be repercussions or punishment that I may have to suffer for this step. Obviously I have taken leave for giving main Exam.I have taken Doctor's prescription but it is from private hospital.Should I send scanned copy of prescription in reply or remain silent till resuming office?Is it mandatory to produce certificate from govt. hospital in case of medical leave?Please advise.

Send whatever u have in hard copy... Also if they want govt hospital certificate... Then there is a procedure... They have to send a letter in the name of civil sergen to examine u....aise koibhi govt hospital certificate issue nai karte...

Bhai bank me ho to koi problem nahi ha. Koi kuch nai kar sakta. And nowhere the leave will be considered unauthorised because you have informed your manager through written mail. Producing certificate from government hospital is NO WHERE NECESSARy. Just koi private hospital se koi certificate bana lo ya kisi ki pehchan se.

BAMS / BHMS ka bhi certificate chalta ha bahot jagah. Sirf Reg No is necessary.

Tension mat lo yaar and focus on mains. Koi kuch nai kar sakta jab tak tum khud resgin nai karte.

Some of my friends from PSU were saying in case you have taken outstation leave Govt. Hspital certificate is mandatory.If u are on station then only em-paneled private hospitals or Govt hospital certificate is valid. My boss is a pathetic person and rule bound.In case he sticks to his stand....I want to know what kind of action may be taken.Can it take away my job or will it hamper my civils chances by instituting vigilance inquiry against me. What may happen if he denies to grant leave as authorized duration ? I will be terminated or a vigilance enquiry could be instituted against me ?

@enindez As far as I know what u are suggesting happens in case of of remedical or reverification of medical sickness for medical leave duration on basis of medical certificate.If u know more...Plzz clarify.

@Max_Weber1986 I am also on leave from past 2.5 months. You don't worry:-
1. Even private practitioner medical certificate would do. Just keep your paper work properly. Send him a post by snail mail.
2. No enquiry can be intiated because-
He is also answerable to his seniors as well as service rule. Government departments are too prickly about it. Further you must have been appointed by a higher authority and he may be your disciplinary officer but he is not your appointing officer so cannot do much beyond rules.
3. Even if any enquiry is initiated you will be required to be produced before a medical board. Just make sure your prescription is about anyting which is hard to detect. And mind you Central rules discourage any medical board for less than 3 months absence.
4. Finally any vigilance enquiry would put his reputation and caliber to question. He would not do it until he is completely insane.

Do not worry and prepare for mains , maximum they can penalize u by making this unauthorized leave punishable by loss of pay.... Remember the ground rule of govt service that it's hard to appoint you and even harder to terminate you..... Just keep the paperwork completed.....
