exactly same situation bro! Got 105 to 110 from various keys :(( :((
Looking forward to other exams now SSC state PSC etc. Funnily ( or tragically?)never took them seriously earlier. Government sector seems best bet for now. Study gap would ruin prospects in pvt. sector for me. I would say prepare for Quant, Apti, Eng and get down to giving all kinds of Bank PO/Clerk, Insurance, SSC and subscribe to sarkarinaukri.com updates. They compile data for government sector jobs very well. Any suggestions are welcome mitro!
  • aankho se aaso bi nahi nikal rahe
papa ke samne aankhe nahi mila paya mai
mere 1.5 year ki job bi chali gyi
no life no carrier though it was my 1st attempt csat ne life barbad kar di as my parents are too old , i dont know mere lie kitna sacrifice kiya
soch raha hun ro lu lekin ansoo nai nikal rahe
  • Left job - 2.5 exp, attempts-2, failed in both prelims. Nearing 27,Don't know what to do next :-w
  • First attempt, prepared while working in an MNC for 2 years , was getting ~106. But could not make it..Did not even apply for CAT this year, though have been 95+ %iler thrice (even 99.65 once). Can't leave the job... Don't know what to do, Delhi jaau, ya job k sath self study till prelims, then 4 months k gap k liye leave le k focussed study.... I am in a fix... Any input is welcomed. TIA
  • Failed twice in a row...30+... This time expected to clear with 100 marks. Now left with last attempt. After 5 year of service and 2 year of gap I find myself in a dilemma as what to do ....should I go for my last attempt or get back to job
no one but only you can decide ur destiny..... jisne paida kiya wo khane ko bhi dega...... bas asfalta se ghabrao mat..... Charon taraf nazar dauda k dekho..... tumse bahut bekar condition me log honge..... say tnx to god and promise him that u will not let it go without fight.....
agr job bhi karte ho to bhi padh sakte ho.... I m doing same for last 5 years..... still eluded by success.... but I have not lost my hope....
    All the best frnd :)
  • For a change em not devastated...
    Age- almost 24
Attempt- 2nd , reached interview in previous attempt.
Backup-- did not give any other exam. .
Anyways enrolled in ignou ma , will be giving cat most probably and apfc too from next year other exams like state psc , ssc , college entrances.

Its life... This is it.... As I said to a friend few days ago.... Maximum people who will write mains will not clear it... Maximum who will give interview will not clear that... And even those who get there names in the list.. So many of them will write the exam again.

So if you can , if you want then you must... You must not give up!! All the best... Em back to studies as I wasn't even borderline this time but surely was devastated on 23rd Aug itself...
It will be hard coping up.. Yes.. I can not imagine what some might be going through.. Like a friend she gave interview twice and this was her third attempt did not even clear prelims 27 ye old from village ... So all kinds of problem marriage, finance etc...
We want to bring change in our lives in lives of those near us but if we don't clear things don't change in fact get worse... So my suggestion is to always have a backup ... Because this exam as it did for me last month had been difficult it sends you into such an emptiness with each failure that you can not understand what's happening and more so... Why you only. You know you deserve more and are better but still you are the one sitting out.!
    Its difficult...

We are all courageous that we have it in ourselves to take risk for what we dream for.. Dreaming is other part but doing , sewking it endlessly even when it gives you to reverse gear... You get old, waste youth years not enjoying , not partying, not facebooking, you dont join those high paying jobs, you don't take other opportunities , facing the looks n queries of friends n families , crying because you have let them down , because you can not take it anymore... The same schedule same books but not the same you... Stress rising with each attempt... No one can experience what you might be going through...
Its not easy... And we know it....

But its the courage to continue that counts.. All the very best.. Lets hope our life don't get very very boring and we all achieve what we seek... Love.
  • It was my second attempt. Cleared Pre last year and missed interview call by a narrow margin. Devastated is a small word. Flunked in every other exam like SSC n IBPS just because I whole heartily focused on UPSC. Morever, my parents rebuked me today saying that it was my fault that I could not clear it this time. I studied day and night in libraries still had to face rebukes. This is the worst part. I am not disappointed with my result much but much more disappointed with my parents' rebukes. I want to pursue this journey further but dont know my father will let me do it or not. No other job option seems to be available. DEVASTATED! Reservation system and anti-CSAT people devastated me!

Friends..its all a game of life..we shouldn't but being humans we will give this exam that much importance..this was my 2nd attempt. Cleared first thanks to CSAT and this time was stuck between 98-103..did an MBA through parents' hard earned money and left job with a serious motivation to pursue my true calling..it took a lot of effort to convince my family on leaving the job but they finally reposed that faith in me.

Just confused what to do..my heart says if I continue the momentum of preparation 2016 will be the year..but heads screeches don't be a fool, go search for a job and forget this. How does one make a choice..who knows what is the pattern next year..CSAT gone this time, optional goes away next time or something else? This dilemma is a game, and it is really really bad.
