Can anyone please help me make a decision as to which institute to join for philosophy. I am confused between Mitra's and VVR. Who teaches Western Philosophy better and covers all the concepts well?
Mitra sir is more popular, Ambuj sir is a dedicated person but somehow he fails to get the commensurate attention...better go and talk to both the teachers and their students personally and then make up your mind...Do share your findings at the forum...Happy Learning
@NayaBanda I think you should see the previous threads. Your question have been answered. Please visit the both institutes. Have a dialogue and then make a reasonable decision. Examine for your own self. There are some propagandist on this forum too. Always remember " Unexamined life is not worth Living- Socrates" I have already expressed my opinion on mitra's in my early threads.
@Ambi It is not about popularity of mitra. it is about hard work, dedication, right feedback and sincerity of a teacher towards his students. And you find that quality in Mr. Mitra. He is not amongst the teacher who will leave student in lurch. I have experienced my self that when I gave my effort, he helped me in all way and tried to bring best out of me and that's what a teacher should do.
trend is changing, see the questions. Mitra Sir has good grip over topics. Very logical way of teaching. Can't say about Patanjali or VVR. They might also be equally good.
@ku_klux_klan just producing toppers does not make an institution better? Be logical. You have to even see who were they and what they did? Keep in mind that maximum people are average. This are the people who are in real need. It is not about topper. It is about the whole teaching process. We are not here to claim the best , but to give right view( Samyak Drishti) to the new aspirants.

Okay..but they have produced maximum selections over so many years so i thought they r d best in philo...and everyone reads their notes..cant sayvthe same abt others..however this is my perception..which may be wrong
@kk12_ Your reply is ridiculous. You will meet many and you will feel good. Even people meet clowns in the circus and they feel good. Please provide some concrete answer or else do not give such an unwarranted reply which consumes space of forumias and its resources too. @root Please insert spam button instead of flag for such responses.
