What to do with wrong/misprinted questions?

In previous year paper I have seen many question which are either misprinted or does not have right answer choice.

In this situation what one should do either mark any ans as right or skip the question?

  • You don’t need to worry about misprint or wrong questions because every time it’s not happening. When you think that there is any misprint in question paper then you need to put some of your mind. With your logic you can understand that question and solve. If you don’t understand that question then you also can skip that question… Thanks…
  • Just answer them literally. Don't try to correct them in your head and then choose the option. Mark the best answer for the actual question printed. Rest is UPSC's own headache. They'll take care of those questions.

well upsc does nt do corrections themselves ... eg 2013 balance of payments question. there was some ambiguity in food chain question too.... so apply common sense to solve those. if still not clear . leaving those would be better
