Hi all.....my take on the issue..
1) Non mastery of optional ...... took civil engineering just out of shear love !!! But no mastery of the subject .....

Books need to be referred for some topics like 3d,complex analysis,ode ode and not for all.

Are IMS notes sufficient for the optional ?
Seems very bulky
Ims notes are very more than enough if u get hold of those but for some topics you might have to refer books that's depend on u.

I have to skip this attempt only because of my maths preparation...I have got good marks in GS and essay in my 2016 mains u r judging the optional by seeing the marks of few people...I have got very low marks in 2016 in maths both combined I got 130…
