Bhai tum log quota dekhte ek din unki life Ji k dekho.... Economically kitna b strong ho lakin jaisay hi pta lgta dalit hai ya kuch so called lower cast.. Alg hi behave krte log... kahi b jao... har jgh caste ko leke discrimination hota hi... Bhai unki life bhot struggle wali hai... door se acha lgta... lakin itna criticism k sath roz roz ji k dekho 2 din mai bhag jaoge !''
This argument is correct for SC/STs because they have been induced with social disabilities by virtue of their birth in some caste. But i don't understand the rationale behind OBC quota, they were not treated as untouchables, they were only subjected to class discrimination which is prevalent even in Forward castes.
SC cut off for selection : 810 Tina Dabi's score after Mains : 868

It is a remarkable achievment indeed. That said, the only reason her category has been marked as 'SC' in the merit list and not general is because she has taken advantage of reservations at some stage of the exam. Considering age/attempt/mains/interview marks are obviously not the areas, it is but obvious that she cleared prelims under 'SC' category.
Which calls for an interesting view. Had she been a general category student, the Prelims (which is supposed to screen the better candidates) would have screened out the best of the lot!
@mind_reader_3103 Bhai ek br UN logo ki jindgi ji phir baat krna.... aap logo ko to har jgh jgh respect hai!!

Are you sure about this ? that those candidates who have availed reservation at some stage of examination, only their category is mentioned in the final result ? I think category is mentioned irrespective of score.
