Some info regarding marking pattern which i got from my relative working in upsc. 1. This year GS marks will be more liberal to make its marks deciding factor. 2. marks in optionals will be lesser, on the lines of 2013. ie 200-210 marks in optionals will be good marks n highest can be around 250-260. 3. mains results in 2nd-3rd week of march, interview from april 1st week.
@CaptainBarbossa by thinking in that way you can actually improve your performance in 2015 interview.. leaving hundred marks in the exam does not matter much..if quality has been imparted in even 1400/1500 marks..
Thanks for these inspiring words. I will keep the hope alive.
BC sab launde ethics m 90-100 se kam nhi bata rhe, lagta h ethics m sirf meri li gyi h
I left 100 worth of answers in total. Feeling like I am out of race.
Bhai chahe tumne 200 num ka chod diya ho lekin agar baki 800 badiya se kar k aaye ho to tumhara num 1000 attempt walo se jyada ayege, issi baat par bolo.. Bharat Mata ki Jai.
I can observe from the datasheet that the variance in GS marks is very less but is very high in optionals. But i feel that UPSC may surprise us and GS may be the decider this time. Let us see. I request you to feed your marks in the sheet.

I tried to analyse the papers 1-2 days back but after reading few Qs i felt i have not performed up to the mark so did not analysed further. Better start preparing for the interview ..some basic DAF items like graduation subjects, job ex, home state/district, hobbies etc.
