While many people have given suggestions and legal opinions.....but what if i tell u that i have met a person who was in prison as he was preparing for his mains exam??
it was june 2011....there is a Samkalp IAS academy in delhi....and it held an annual function to facilitate those who clear civil services every year...
that year...a sikh man with age 30 years and 7th attempt cleared the civil services exam with rank in 700s....he was in reserved category(SC) and from punjab....
I am not in a situation of remembering his name or so...but he told the full gathering that he was indicted under section 498A...and prepared while in prison....may be he got bail or something to appear for exam and i m not sure of his current status....
so yeah u can give the exam,,,,,...if u wanna search more on that person....then I have given u much material abt him to search internet....and get in touch with him...if u want suggestions from him..
@Samar_Singh91 get your wife back and work out all your problems with her. Don't just give up on your marriage bro you don't need any lawyer. Just ask her to come back.
If that doesn't work tell her that we are still not a very broadminded society. First it'll be very difficult for a divorced women to find an above average groom even once divorced guys won't look at her. Second tell her that whoever she weds you'll track him and tell him that you did helluva lot more dirty stuff with her than the poor bastard can imagine (I don't need to explain much and risk a ban) That will sure ruin her marriage for 2nd consecutive time. Play a bit of brinksmanship. You need to watch 'Suits' tv show after the exam.
Samar Singh what Mr lobo said is absolutely correct.. Just one suggestion call Imran Farid sir and he will explain everything in detail.. And you will be satisfied....
1. threaten them that if they file dowry case and try to ruin ur life, u would killdestry them.Everyone is fearful, mainly those who are culprits, so its not only u who needs to fear. Play with their psychology. Start behaving like a psycho, a mentally dsturbed innocent person who can now go to any extent. Bring them on backfoot.
2. never marry again.
n u shd nt wry for d dwry case, proper enquiry is done after supreme court judgement.
Na bhai...is bhool me na rehna k proper enquiry is done after arnesh Kumar judgement of supereme court.. If someone is implicated the whole system ie police, lawyers , judge and laws will act as the girl wishes them to.. No proof needed... One will be arrested if bargain as wished by wife fails..no proofs required by her and no counter proofs presented by boy will be entertained...
it's high time that feminists should come forward n demand a review of this law. SC has said that 90% dowry cases are fake. Once meant to be a law for prevention of women harassment, it is the most misused law today.

Samar Singh ...dowry ka case kyun lagana chahti hai wo..kya she wants u to leave ur parents??
Bhai actually she stayed with me only for a few days only during these six months. Right from the start, she was erratic and never gave a hint that she took the marriage seriously. I was totally confused and then all the hell broke loose. The misguidance she received from her family was also one of the decisive factor. Someone has misguded her family that since I am in goverment service and an arrest would render me suspended for a prolonged period, I would perennially on the backfoot.
