I have a HCL H505 printer which I have used rarely. Now I want to use it as the no.of internet sources are increasing. The problem is that I have lost the software which should be installed into the system. Is there any possibility to re-use the printer? Please suggest a remedy...
@Gak F 2400 series is the worst of all printer series... ink guzzler and super expensive refilling dear..get a LaserJet.
@aman8770 HP 1020 is a good printer having the same 12A toner as that of canon 2900B.
you can get it refilled anywhere, check your nearest xerox wala, he will tell you where to go. or he will fill it up for you for 200-300.
if this is your first toner, then HP would have given you introductory toner that will have only 50% capacity than the regular toner..go to a printer ink refiller..you may have to buy new toner which can be more refillable with twice the capacity of the introductory toner.
Please elaborate about Canon 2900B ink and refilling costs. Does it work fines or any glitches are there in ink refilling as i don't want to buy new cartridges.
@HatasEngineer dear i bought canon 2900B and i am in love with this printer. this is THE best printer if you want something that do not take too much space in your room (if u do not stay at home, then you must be having a small rented room) and want for just printing purpose.
1. works without glitch 2. printing cost very low = 1500 prints+ in good quality for 300 Rs. 3. refilling charge = 200-300 Rs. 4. for domestic use, only need to refill once in one year. 5. two year warranty
@hatasengineer Refilling cost- 0 in my case because i do myself otherwise max 150 bucks at agra. Powder cost- 80 bucks for 120 g & 70 for 100 g. 120 g pack surely gives me more than 2000 average pages. Glitches-not at all, only one needs practice 3-4 times to understand right settings for that magnetic rod (main problem creator for naive) then anyone can become a professional refiller and can refill within 10 min.
