Please help all the experienced candidates. I am repeatdly getting below 50%marks in interview in my last 3 encounters. This will be my fifth attempt. I just want to know the pros and cons of taking interview in hindi medium if you write your mains in english medium.

@bahubali bhai pls reply to my quesn above
  • Questions can be either in hindi or english depending upon board members ..members hailing from south or board like david used to ask in english only
U can answer in hindi or hinglish
No translator for hindi medium ..most of them understand hindi..even u should not ask for a translator...smjne layak english to ati hi h sb ko
  • I did same and got 171 in 2013 interview. My highest among 3 interviews faced. So plz dont hesitate if u r comfortable in speaking Hindi

i asked many people ,, they said your personality is introvert ( not suitable for civil service) so now i have left civils and thinking of making career in my present field( medical)

If ur sole aim is to become an ias officer then go for it
My aim was to ameliorate poor people's miseries when I prepared for upsc
Now the aim is same but the mode will be different. ..would do surely whereever I am
  • Thanx @bahubali bhai
  • I think many people who are getting low marks in interview can improve their score if they choose hindi as medium of interview.but most of them have very less information regarding it.
Hence,I would request people who hv written mains in English but appeared in interview in hindi should come forward and share their experience.
How much English words we can use in between or do we have to know proper hindi word of all those technical words we study in English.
This experience wl b useful to people filling daf forms next year.
Hence its humble request to ppl who hv followed this strategy to come out in open n share their experience.
