Pilot V7 discussion / query

edited February 10 in Miscellaneous
So i have neen using pilot v7 after comments / advise on my previous Great Pen Debate thread .

been using it from quite some time but having issues with refills that the quality of ink in new pen seems far better than in refill

i have been advised to use v5 refill or v7 RT , or refill cartilage using inkjet printer ink

any advise or solution , or is it just that i am buying fake refills and should buy from amazon etc ?
i am really fed up due to this refill issue and need it to be economical

yr effective cost of one pen is rs 50 that way , refill se it comes to rs 12.5

and not available in my locality , amazon will charge 50 rupee delivery

  • how do you handle the smudging of ink. It happened with me several times.
Now thinking of shift towards a ball pen.

Eye fine is use and throw right? Anyway to refill this? Or is there a refillable alternative in uniball?

  • go to shop and check for yourself as ink flow differs from pen to pen (in same genre of 0.5)

uniball eye ultra-micro is 0.38 (and writes like MUJI or staedlter pens)

uniball eye micro is 0.5 (and writes slightly in lighter tone compared to V5)

uniball eye fine is 0.7 (and ink does not penetrate through 70gsm papers)

Also you should write a full length gs paper to finally choose the right pen.

If there is pain while writing for longer hours then try switching to slimmer pens (the link glycer type build)

For me opposite worked , thicker grip (v7) helped in the pain issue
