Selection of CBI director through selection committee but I don't think it's under Lokpal act

No equality without justice as art 13 ( rule of law ) is followed by art 14 ( right to equality)
Hence rule of law is a precondition for equality

Yes we can have justice but not equality as a just system would allow for equals to be treated as equals and unequals as unequals

Also we can have enforced equality but not justice. In nature we don’t have equality but there is inherent justice .

Nope, I haven't appeared for this test

    1. Justice but no equality - it means only upper class people can get justice and twist judiciary in their own way.
    2. Equality can be ensured in typical communist type societies but justice can never prevail in those societies as we all know what type of punishments/sentences are rewarded in China

If preamble is any clue then justice then answer should be "no equality without justice" i.e. option (b).

Justice but no equality is no justice at all.

Why derive definition of justice based on experience in China?? That is no justice at all.

Justice has a biggere meaning encompassing equality and China's system should be tested based on the definition of justice rather than other way around.

Actually there is no justice in China but they justify giving absurd and out of context punishment to their officials
They have created illusion of justice as their friend North Korea's illusion of democratic elections

Yes it's done under Lokpal act , by 3 member committee...PM+CJI(or its nominee) + LOO....it was all over news due to sacking of Alok Verma.

there can be justice without equality, for ex in law minors and adults are treated differently but that doesn't mean its unjust. or take IPC provisions like on adultery that were not gender neutral but still justice was served
for me any extreme statement is a no no, so I'll go with A

    answer is C

Perfect equality is not needed.. what is needed is egalitarian or equity.. i.e just and fair equality

so anti thetical as one is compromised to achieve other. if too much equality unjust, if too much justice then inequality .. so equity comes out as synthesis
