    Good move
Will weed out non serious people and help in allocating lesser centres than current.
In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act!
  • UPSC should also reform itself by disclosing the marksheets of Mains before applications are invited for the next year.
Genuine aspirants drop sometimes because they want to change their optionals (on seeing the marksheets they realise that Optional was the culprit) or sometimes people try to secure an alternative job (when they realise on seeing the marksheets that LBSNAA bhut dur h ).
Moreover I seriously wish it is not applied retrospectively (if implemented)

And if somehow , one serious candidate not able to write on that day then he'll lose his attempt .
Don't understand how can someone support this idiocy.

some 3/4 years back a candidate was appearing for his mains on last attempt. He met with an accident while returning from exam centre. He could not appear for remaining papers.Next year he approached Delhi High court seeking an attempt as he met with an accident that was beyond his control.HC granted him a conditional attempt pending final verdict. He appeared again and finally made it to final list with a double digit rank. But UPSC withheld his candidature and fiercely contested his claim. The candidate lost the case.Just imagine the intensity of cruelty on the part of UPSC.

that accident could have been planned

Though I don't find merit in the case because this is not how the system runs. There are people who have been denied entry because they were late by seconds. For checking the practically of this we must see what if more such cases occur? How far can we go? But please ignore that cheap third class ignorant troll. He has been shitting all over. Every telegram group and now forum. He got no brain at all.

This is what happens when you have unlimited amount of human capital at your disposal, complete apathy from a constitutional body.
    It's a shame
