Q2. The ending of deal and subsequence sanctions on Iran make India’s path difficult in middle east. India has hitherto balanced the contrasting elements in the region and now it will be a challenge for it to manage the rival parties. Fuck it. Bahot hua proper likhna. Yeh raha aage ka kissa..
Deal end ho gaya. Sanctions Iran pe lag gaye. Ab US bol raha India se ke oil import kam kare Iran se. India has already diversified its oil import toh abhi itna dikkat nahi hona chahiye Iran se cut karne mein. But baat strategic autonomy ki aa jati hai. Toh idhar India ka clear stand hai ke yeh kisi ke pressure mein succumb nahin karega.
Iran jaroori hai India ke liye coz pakistan ko bypass kar ke jo hum central Asia ke liye route bana rahe uske liye Iran aur chabahar jaroori hai. Plus hamara historical, civilisations, cultural etc etc relation hai Iran ke sath. Toh usko bhi nahi chhod sakte.
North south transport corridor hum ko Europe aur Africa dono se connect karegi. Africa se woh Afro Asia growth corridor se connect karegi jo Japan ke sath kar rahe hum. Aur chabahar iske liye bahot jaroori. Matlab Iran is imp for us.
India ka Afghanistan mein jo interest hai uske liye bhi Iran ka support jaroori hai.
Abhi India ka official stand yehi hai ke it will not bow down to US sanctions. India tab follow karega jab UN sanction lagaayega. US wala nahin. Baaki in reality India has started reducing its oil import from Iran. Toh tacit understanding hai India US mein is baat ko leke. US udhar S400 trumf ke liye exemption de diya India ko. Aur Iran wale case mein India ko jyada push nahin kar raha esp India jab khud se reduce kar raha oil import.
Chalo ab yehi yaad aa raha filhal. Baad mein dhang se answer kar dunga. Abhi nahane ja raha.

Waise maine Nehru ki bio padhi hai. Unhone criticise kyun kara usme liberals ko iske reasons bhi mention kare hain. Jitna yaad aa rhaa chipka raha idhar.
Nehru felt that liberals were interested in power grabbing only. They were opportunist who could shake hands with British at any moment.
He felt that liberals were not committed to social justice and idea of equality. Nehru was influenced by ideas of left as it was in fashion those days. (It was radical and new, although not tested in practice). Liberals occasional opposition to any long term mass movement also irked Nehru to an extent. Liberals believe in constitutional politics and usually opposed to agitational politics.

According to C Rajamohan, Pragmatism and not political pieties from right or left should determine India's engagement with Israel. Both have lot to offer to each other. In the words of Late PM AB Vajpayee, '' SKY IS THE LIMIT '' to the India- Israel relationship.
