Is calling out unjust Brahminical Supremacy a criminal offence in India now ?

In reference to this article- https://indianexpress.com/article/technology/tech-news-technology/twitter-jack-dorsey-photo-5456455/

A senior IPS officer of JS rank has called out to file a criminal case against a person who was given red carpet left, right and centre by every big shot, including our PM, until the last week.

And, mind you, this guy is not even a Brahmin - who got angry for some emotional reason. (Which could have been justified on emotional grounds but not rationally given the constitutional position he's holding).

Question arises- Are we Indians really a bunch of slave-herd following a medieval hierarchical order seeping through the very soil on which we live, and try to defend that supremacist order come what may, forgetting the unjustness (for all sections but the creators of this order) and oppression, unequal treatment and humiliation (against the lower rungs of the order) sanctioned by the same supremacist order?

  • Also,

Can someone explain if calling out to demolish an unjust social order (which according to the supremacists- doesn't exist in the first place!) can create social disorder, doesn't openly bad-mouthing Muslims and threatening to rename mosque after Lord Vishnu on national television by a national spokesperson of a national party (https://scroll.in/video/901645/watch-will-rename-a-mosque-after-lord-vishnu-bjp-leader-sambit-patra-says-during-tv-debate) warrant such a threat of disorder (and criminal suit against the instigator) by the learned officers of this nation?

Doesn't our constitution talk about creating a just society based on equality? And, to achieve those goals, is there no need to demolish the social constructs (e.g. untouchability) dictated by the supremacist order which perpetuates inequality and indignity for millions since millennia?

  • "...Attempt to destabilize a nation" via a picture which calls to demolish an unjust patriarchal order- by none other than a senior IPS officer.

Given his displayed level of cognition/understanding or his attempt to actually create disorder by way of instigation or merely trying to justify a hierarchical order against the spirit of the constitution, is this guy not liable to be deemed unfit for the service ?

PS- Those 4.3k who retweeted and 6k who liked this tweet and the idea, therein, can't be subjected to same scrutiny as we know what the general IQ of an average commoner is.

  • Completely agree with you.. hypocrisy that reigns here...here no matter how educated one person is never able to elevate oneself from the narrow precincts of hierarchy..here people do not believe in equality... they never believed.. because there is a fear of losing many privilege s in social and economic landscape.. whoever criticize s this disease which I think exist only in mind ,is labeled as against India and indian culture and heritage..I loathe this... whatever Twitter CEO said was right.. bureaucrats are the products of this society only..u can not accept any better from them .
Unless we recognize our privilege and shun them and give each and every man and woman his /her due dignity and respect no developed whether in societal or politico_economical is possible here...modi Kya modi ka baap vi yaha kuchh nahi Kar sakta jaha pe logo ki bichar aise ho ..

Wait for a few days/months/years. When you will be in
government service (at any level post) you will find strong caste based lobbies ruling the roost in service fraternity.
One among the SC/ST lobby, OBC lobby, Jaat lobby, Yadav lobby, Bhumihar lobby, Brahmin lobby, Vaishya lobby, Muslim lobby etc. will pounce upon you based on your antecedents/surname and try to add you to their grouping. And apart from covert camaraderie, there will be regular meetings of these groupings in office hours (couched as lunch hour meetings). Based on caste of the office head, one of these groupings will be very strong and assert itself overtly as well as covertly.

And the worst part is, if you show any reluctance to bow to the manoeuvring of your caste order, you will be disowned by your own grouping and left for buffeting by service fraternity. Hierarchically junior employees from your social order will want to eke out official favours from you which may not always be ethical. Especially when you will be a young officer. Some caste based local leaders (from any caste grouping) will play strong and truant in office which may lead to friction with you, if you are a sitting senior officer in office (rankwise, not agewise).

And who wants to bet that within the first 6 months of his service he will find at least one guy crying wolf over the reason that that guy is being targeted solely because of his caste. Will happen almost ever other fortnight if you will sit in vigilance department.

So my suggestion is, instead of bashing your caste of choice here on Forum, wait for sometime and prepare well. You will get your time to go apeshit over Brahmins, or for that matter, any caste group, once in service. And there will be a whole fraternity backing you up in this pious endeavour. :joy:

But, why are hordes of online trolls (and their offline counterparts) going apeshit against Jack Dorsey as if he has committed a garvest crime of the highest possible order only for (mistakenly) calling out the shit going around under the system created by Brahminical social order*.

By this *order, I didn't mean offence to any community or person in particular. I know a few friends who, despite belonging to the community, don't hesitate in calling out the shit of the caste system perpetuated over these centuries of which one example you gave from your service experience.

It's not a rant against a community but an entrenched system which all of us have been blindly aping, feeding onto the proverbial fire and getting consumed as well.

A google search on brahminical patriarchy throws this result:

A marked feature of Hindu society is. its legal sanction for an extreme expression. of social stratification in which women and. the lower castes have been subjected to. humiliating conditions of existence.

The covert aim is to bash Brahmins only in the name of brahmanical supramecy.. Was it needed in that meeting to show up such picture.. It was some meeting called upon on gender empowerment..by twitter.. But aim was something else. It is the same social order due to which reservation is existing.. No problem in that. No one justifies that system but blaming only one particular community isn't right also.

Ever wondered, my dear friend, why women need to be empowered in the first place ? What is the reason behind the degeneration of women's position in the Indian society? And why a meeting for such thing needed to be arranged with the Twitter CEO?

Why need for reservation came in the first place?

There's a difference between an order and an individual.

Calling out Nazism is not equal to criticising Germans.

An Idea or a coneptual framework was attacked here and not any community, whether overtly or covertly.

Your morals and ethics should not boil down to your caste and religion, that's why we are spending years in "learning" and "studies" in ORN or MN.

If that doesn't happen, there is seriously something rotten in the society we are living or the individual which we are. And we need to introspect deeply and stand against the tide, when in position to do so.

Making me introspect, who we are, what we are and where we are going as a nation.
[●●●] muslims jab 3 baar talak bolte ho tab patriarchy yaad nahi aati..

aur 3% brahmins jaisa tum bolte firte ho...hazaro saalo se jo bol rahe hai tum man rahe ho iska matlab tum really undeserving ho..aur tab jab iss desh me britishers, mulle aur kahatriye raaz kerte aaye hai..kamsekam mughalo ke samay toh kuch kerna tha...

  • Patriarchy is patriarchy.

    चाहे वो मुल्लों की हो या ठूलोंं की या किसी और की।

    बिना मतलब रायता न फैलाओ अगर कुछ meaningful contribute न करना हो तो।

Anyway so, basically you fellows have validated my point only by showing signs of utter discomfort and anger at mere calling out the unjust order.

And then using means of deviations from the real topic and hijacking the agenda of discussion to obfuscate the venality of the actual issue.

    Congrats!

:joy:

People have to get to the root of whole issue and not just crib on this single instance when this whole anti-brahamanical cauldram have surfaced in papers.

Its important to understand this rot in so called indian intellectual space, so far dominated my left delusionist who fed on this whole BS idea of brahamansim.

What is this brahmanism, who cares about it, who today ask if a temple priest is brahman or not..and biggest of all who today feels brahmins are needed to realise god ...absolutely no one. But again these illfamed left liberals try to dramatise this whole obsolete idea of brahmanism (obsolete just like left ideology..) to instigate masses from socially deprived sections. These are the same aptards who propagate ARYAN- DRAVIDIAN divide between south and north, instigated by colonialists ( while dravid word is coined by shankaracharya and our DNA dont reflect any aryan- dravidian divide proving this whole theory to be a hoax)

Sometimes i am surprised to the extent to which these so called dalit activist or similar left liberals, for that matter have infested the influential spaces in media, colleges, companies...so much so that Twitter CEO had got no one but these ideologically irrelevant vicioua people to have a meeting with.

And when it comes to brahmans, they were guiding light of ancient Indian society. Brahman was a follower of Brahma...and anybody could become a brahman by following certain disciplines( and original vedic literature classifies four varnas based on quality and not birth). People crib about brahmin affluence but they were first inline to be Butchered during islamic invasions and what not...

Finally today there are no brahmins again as per vedic wisdom..so all these identities and taboos associated are false and are being utilized to create mutual hatred..in this case by so called left liberals.

Just one correction. Brahmins were treated with respect during Mughal period. They were exempted from many taxes including Jizya. Halanki Aurangzeb ne Brahmins pe bhi laga diya tha jizya. Overall they were treated with respect during Mughal rule.
