Excellent bro... Any other such info - pls share ....
  • > avoid filling essay with too many stats. try to speak from conceptual level n use quotes, stats wherever necessary to justify your 'own opinion' .. it will fetch you good marks for sure.

    >avoid using famous quotes of famous persons. instead try less well known (doesnt mean insignificant) sayings of 'well known persons'.

    > Be innovative, interlink issues and come up with new thought provoking perspectives.

there was an essay on 'innovation for socio economic development' in 2016 mains.. one point i wrote that, 'even small innovations like Braille enabled new currency notes (remonetized notes) will bring much needed respite in the lives of socially disadvantaged like visually challenged.

    > try to show the person who checks your paper that you are well read person. use phrases, terminologies that you hear from experts. india regarded as a 'deal breaker' by many western countries in the context of negotiations in wto. for sustainable devlopment we need to embrace this idea of 'deep ecology'.. briefly elaborate these terms while using... make sure that the examiner understands what you are saying.. theyll appreciate in most cases.

In 2017 i got 145 in essay. believe it or not, first essay was on destiny of nation ~ 7.5 pages. second one.. human law vs natural law ~ 5.25 pages. second one was a philosophical topic. i was struggling to write..i thought i made a big mistake by choosing this topic instead of anothr topic on women. i was not able to practice even a single essay or GS paper before mains... i had to finish my new optional before at any cost.. missed interview by a small margin.
