Job vs preparation

Hi ,
I am currently working in a cooperative sector as a chemical engineer . The job is good but i have to work in shifts and thats cumbersome and hence i can't follow a fixed schedule .
My age is 23 and i was thinking of resigning and devote completely to UPSC PREP.
I have tried to have a balanced approach but it didn't worked well.
Please suggest .
I am aiming at 2019 .

It should be competely your call. But now it is very difficult to clear this exam with job. Since competition gas increaeed to insane level with 1st stage itself.
But also after leaving the jov and studying full time. There is no guarantee
