About M Puri GS2 classses.

I have searched the forum for this query. Could not find convincing answers.

If one has read and disgested Laxmikant , how useful is Puri sir's classes ?
If one joins his classes , would one need to study extra books or will his handouts and notes be sufficient ?

    Regarding your query:

If one has read and disgested Laxmikant , how useful is Puri sir's classes ?

If one joins his classes , would one need to study extra books or will his handouts and notes be sufficient ?

-Laxmikant is book dealing with static foundation of polity and good for prelims but not for mains. M.Puri will give you pros and cons of everything important. He will cover contemporary issues and debates like triple talaq, UCC and he will do it starting from Shah bano case. Same goes for all other topics related to polity like ban of media, SC's judicial activism etc. He will cover all articles of constitution relevant to class topic, make you underline Bakshi bare act book.

His classes are very comprehensive. Moreover, they cover GS3 fully which also includes IR and security by Siddiqui sir. Class notes+handouts will be sufficient and you do not need to read books (though he will motivate you to read books for knowledge but it's a personal choice) as coverage is very good.
