Aspirants with LAW optional please help

Hi,
I am thinking of taking Law as an optional. Paper 1 seems like Polity+Current Affairs+International Laws & relations. But Paper 2 looks totally new.
Those who have this optional kindly suggest ways to start preparing. What notes and/or books should be read to complete the syllabus on time. Also, which is the best test series for this optional.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

  • I am a Kashmiri pandit domiciled in Maharashtra since exodus. My daughter has cleared MSEB entrance exam under women reservation quota for open category. Tehasildar(revenue officer) refuses to grant her non creamy lay certificate. We didn't mention our caste in her school LC because it was necessary for people belonging for backward class. Even my LC doesn't mentions Hindu brahmin explicitly. My old school in Kashmir is burned down. Is it possible to get a court approved brahmin certificate for us? What is the procedure and how much time it will take.

  • I am opting law for upsc 18....any help in strategy would be appreciated
  • Hello everyone. Got the opportunity to return after so many years on the website. I have appeared in cse interview in 2014, 15 and 16 with good scores in law though interview killed my chances everytime. Currently I am engaged with a private firm independent of the vicious cycle of the exams. So, I am willing to give back to the aspirants my share of knowledge and experiences. Anyone interested can pm me.
