Practical experience of eye tests

Hi All,

I would like to get inputs from those members who has attended medical tests in CSE post interview. Specifically, how are eye tests done? How strict are they in testing for those who has eye power more than 6? I know that those who have eye power (both myopic+cylindrical) more than 6 will be referred to opthalmic board. But want to know the process which the board process.

I have slight degenerative change in the periphery for more than 15 years but my doctor has confirmed multiple times that it doesn't require any treatment. But I'm not sure whether the same opinion will be shared by the doctors conducting medical for CSE. I'm not sure if they consider prescriptions which I will carry. So, I would like to know the process and strictness.

P.S. Please don't provide free advice to concentrate on prelims which I know. I request members to provide genuine responses and not advice to study for prelims. I know my mental state on how hard it is to concentrate having this thing in the back of my mind.
