What is Fiscal Discipline? Can anyone simplify it?

Please help. What is Fiscal Discipline? Can anyone simplify it?
Just wait and watch...

  • Fiscal policy of govt sometimes is designed to maintain fiscal position of an economy in such a way that it promotes macroeconomic stability, pursue economic objectives, undertakes calibrated spending decisions and works at improving economic performance of the country by avoiding excessive borrowing , debt accumulation and reducing external vulnerabilities. This is only fiscal discipline. Just like for ex, if you have small salary and lot of responisbility towards your house and family, how will you spend your money? With discipline na? That is only your Fiscal discipline in a rough way.

When in an economy too much money is spent on pursuing short term goals it affects fiscal health of country. Fiscal discipline takes into account long term goals and objectives.

    Thanks Brother.
