  • Have you ever came across any free suggestion / Blog for Odia Optional -

    had came across once -

Tips for Odia Litetrature by Sudhanshu Mishra, AIR-246 (2011) IPS

  • Thanks a lot Roorkie_Upsc for ur valuable suggestion. There is a book "Saturi ru Sahasrabdi" by Dr. Nityananda Satapathy which gives complete description of "kabita 1962". but I searched this book in all the libraries of Cuttack but did not find the book..And the Professors of Ravenshaw University are very arrogant and rude...
  • Hi guys....failed with Anthro optional. Thinking of switching to Odia lit. Can you guys provide some insight on it. I am scared of switching as marks of Anthro will not be avialble till july
  • @Satya123 Before opting for the Optional i would suggest you to go through the Oriya syllabus properly.
    Ask yourself few Questions -
    1. "Do you find it easy to comprehend and express" ?
    2. "Can you prepare of your own or Do you need assistance" ?
    3. Resource ?? (I can give you answers for resource but rest you need to introspect)

Availability of text-books or other things are not a problem in Case of Oriya Literature.
Another best resource for Oriya optional is - (Harekrushna Mahatab) State Library (Next to AG).
(But state Library don't allow any membership - as on Last Feb'15)

You can avail / find-out Daily coaching classes from some prof. of Utkal University if you are residing in Bhubaneswar / Cuttack.

Other than Text-books you would need "Alochana Books(Critics and Discussions of that book)".

    Hope this helps !!
