How to prepare notes from Editorials and Opinions?

I am confused about how to make notes out of Editorials and Opinions of various newspapers and utilise them in answer writing .I am wondering how to use the views of an author in our answers?


  • Let's say editorial came on implementing MNREGA program. They'll talk about how it's faulty and what can be done.

    You should get bare information on what MNREGA is, how it works, then how govt says it is a success.

    Then include only the crisp points about what authors are saying about how it's failing. Their reform suggestions would come as measures

    Also take a look at Insights editorials notes for an idea of what all subtopics you should be searching for each article.

    But don't stop making your own notes.
    And make notes only when you have understood the topic.
