  • Yes. I had. This year's mains. Moisture dried was the reason.
Use a lubricant eye drops and Lacferin-C tablets once a day.
    It would suffice.

Headache tend to be the primary symptom for change in power. I think this irritation problem is something which is related to sleeplessness, stress and long sitting studies.
But yes,in matter of eyes,if it is long enough fir 6 months,he must surely visit doctor. No doubt.
I missed that time wala part.

all of them...stress+whole day study(8-8 types).... during mains this year, i studied too hard, with time devoted to book+laptop study..this costed me in last days before mains....and this prob is there till now....

what were the sleeping hours you had? and now?means in the course of this 6 months? and after mains when you had some long sleeps, did the problem persisted then as well?
Also when you wake up,do you feel a sense of itching in the eyes and reddishness?

no..when i got full sleep+ did less study, eyes become much better.itching reduces, but eyes remain red
now my sleeping pattern has improved, compared to mains like 7-8 hours..i deliberately sleep longer to give rest to eyes..but even after long sleeps, prob is there whenever i start studying, n particularly when i study on laptop..
but what alternative do i have??

when i wake itching is not much, but it starts itching even after little study...and reddishness has been there since the problem started...
  • Bhai try systane ultra eye drop. Best eye lubricant drops h. Mujhe bhi same problem h, aur mobile aur laptop ko kam use Karo.

  • generally this problem should go with medication. if not then this problem is related to other organs in the abdomen not the eye. consult other good eye doctor.

Even I had it prior to mains. I used Patanjali eye drops which burned like anything but did one good thing of making tears come out.
I also avoided going out for few days as there's sever dust problem in my city,

avoided rubbing my eyes despite having the irresistible urge,

and avoided splashing water in my eyes for the quick relief that it would give as it would worsen the condition later on.

The problem went away in few days time. I have developed a better eye-care regime since then and haven't had the problem again (so far).

  • It depends from person to person
I had the same problem and it took more than a year to get back to normal state but for many ppl it doesn't take more than a week or month
It is mainly due to pollution, heat and low immune system
See a good doctor and try not to compromise on sleep and good food
