filling irs over ips.

I have filled IRS over IPS. In previous attempts, I had not done so. But this year , while filling DAF, I realized that these choices may decide my whole career. I questioned my interest, aptitude and commitment towards policing , which requires very specific skill sets and commitments. I really have no motivation for chasing criminals. So these are my reasons for not putting ips over irs. Please suggest how should I approach the board when asked on this. @Neyawn @Yo_Yo_Choti_Singh and others

  • Also my interview is in the first week itself
  • Bhai just tell them why you did it like you said it here. you have your reasons. they will appreciate it. I don't think you should be worried about this.
  • putting irs over ips is not weird..some even put ia&as as second choice. i feel that this will not catch their attention. @neywan sir can help u to frame a better reply for this.
