I haveChanged name legally. Can I use the new name for prelims 2018

I have changed my name legally due to personal reasons. My name change has been published in gazatee of India and subsequently I changed name in ADHAR, PAN, VOTER ID. I was not able to change name in academic certificates since it takes more than one year. Please tell me , can I use my new name in prelims 2018?.

  • Yes , you can ..
  • UPSC refers to class 10th certificate for your name DOB and fathers name...so get it changed in that mark sheet because only during DAF of mains you'll be submitting that and during interview document verification happens.
  • U can't change in marksheet
