What to do in 2-3 months before prelims?

Hey all!!
Hey could people share their experiences here as to what should be done 2-3 months before the prelims and what did they do 2-3 months before prelims.

Should we stop answer writing for gs mains in the 2-3 months before the prelims?

Should we stop studying our optional even if it is related to gs syllabus, say the optional is geography or history..

Many people say that the last 2-3 months before prelims before prelims should be devoted EXCLUSIVELY to the prelims. Could anyone please clarify the meaning of the “ exclusively” here?

Best regards

  • I don't have any first hand experience as CSE 2019 will be my first attempt(probably) but I will like to share my understanding..

In last 2-3 months before prelims do 2 things extra.

1-Practice mocks to enhance your intutive skills.

2-Do verbose reading of all topics of your ca and static notes and learn some facts.(example- your ca notes contains a topic-- energy sector then type energy sector on google, read quora answers regarding energy sector and write facts, institutions etc))

Wishing you a great success :)
  • Solve 60 mocks.do 2 tests daily.in one month you will cover whole syllabus as solving questions nd reading for solutions also makes u read little extra about every topic.Mark the question in which u got stuck, open book nd read the whole topic nd adjoining topics(after completing test).Revise these 60 tests in 15 days once more.thus this is plan for 45 days

Do whatever you want to do with rest 1 month.
