Are we ever required to prove job experience claim?

Not about UPSC, but in other exams and careers say if I give CAT, XAT, GMAT what kind of proof do they demand for job experience?

Secondly, I left my job around 2 years ago. If I join the same comany again, I can claim these lost gap years. Isn't it? Can anyone please point out with what kind of exams or career choices can this be done?

I am not averse to getting some lessons on ethics if anyone would want to warn me. I am all ears. I am trying to manage a career disaster on account of my decisions in past. All help is greatly appreciated.

    .

I can only say about CAT. You would have to produce either a reliving letter or first and latest salary slip before the interview.
In IIM interviews, you can mention that you prepared for upsc during these 2 years. The profs will understand it but be ready for questions from current affairs.

No, that's fraud and misleading to your prospective faculty/employer.
Proof wise, pay slips/joining letter/relieving letter/it returns depending on what you are applying for.

Simple rule, be as honest as possible. I know showing fake experience and posing on the resume has somehow become an acceptable part of the work culture, but don't insult the intelligence of your interviewers. Work around your situation, 2 yrs of prep is not a big deal.

Either say you were preparing for 2 yrs or that you were prepping along with helping out with the family business/lands etc. Don;t use the my parent was sick, they have all heard it before.

nothing will happen just submit the joining and relieving letter and last salary slip
