Mechanical 2017 performance

Hi guys ,hope u r doing well, how were Mech paper this time, ? Share your experiences, attempt, level of papers etc ,
I found paper 1 easy, and paper 2 overall same level like that of last year ( easier numerical but tougher theory)
mechanical optional
pre 2016 126, mains 2016 757 (mech1 117, mech2 137)
pre 2017 108 mains 2017 808 (mech1 169 , mech2 107 :( ]
pre 2018 ____
prelims expected cutoff ~96

    This is my first attempt. My Optional is Mechanical.
    I did not join any coaching and relied purely on self study.

    I felt paper 1 (Mechanical) to be easier than paper 2.

    How's the scoring trend in Mechanical in general?
