    Paper 1

1 Silviculture, 2 Silviculture System, 3 Ecology of mangroves and Cold Desert, 4 Silviculture of Trees, 5 Agroforestry Social Forestry urban Forest and Joint Forest Management, 6 Tribology, 7 Forest Soils and its Management, 8 Soil and moisture Conservation, 9 Watershed Management, 10 Environmental Science, 11 Forest Tree Improvement and Biotechnology,

    Paper 2

12 Forest Management, 13 Forest Working Plan. 13 Forest Mensuration, 15 Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS, 16 Forest Buildings, 17 Forest Roads, 18 Forest Surveying, 19 Forest Ecology, 20 Forest Resource Management, 21 Wood Technology, 22 Forest Protection, 23 Forest Legislation, 24 Forest Economics, 25 Wild Life Management, 26 Miscellaneous Information,

Bold ones are difficult to prepare not because they are tough to understand but because Manikandan & S prabhu is shitty for these topics. So we need to prepare other topics very well but we cannot leave these topics. If you have time refer specific books by Rishav Gupta on these topics or use internet to fill loopholes or memorize all previous year solutions of these topics (there is a books with pyq solutions on amazon). There will be atleast two questions which will have questions from these chapters, so they cannot be left.

We should first try and finish easy topics of both papers and then move to the tough ones. That way we won't waste time searching the internet.

To maximize scores, memorise tree species name and make use of diagram//flow charts as much as possible. Time management will not be an issue in both forestry papers. Search internet if you can find better diagrams of various topics. Paper 2 m we need to memorize the forumulas as well, not because numerical will come but because theory m puch lenge. If possible make short notes of what you read. It will help particularly those with optional papers back to back.

Baaki toh chill hi hai. Forestry as such is very scoring if we give adequate time to it.

Also guys focus on english paper. Last year some scored as high as 170s and as low as 80s. This is huge. Generally people ignore english, ki ye thodi pagenge. wren martin se Letter, report, precis etc ho jayegi. For idioms, adjectives, Nouns you will have to search internet for the word list. We should make a target to learn these daily, kuyki last m ignore karke chale jayenge,, ki yar yaha toh kuch bhi aa sakta hai. But part 2 of english paper will boost your score. Essay, report toh sab hi likh lenge.

Essay ko proof read karna hai to ensure that there is not spelling, grammatical error. They are checking your language skills not the flow, dimensions etc etc jo CSE ke essay m hota hai. Keep it simple and error free. Same applies to letter, report.

Aur kuch help chaiye ho toh let me know. I 'll try.

    Tips for Zoology Paper I

    Section A
    Non-chordata and chordata:

Classification should be done thoroughly as it’s given in Barnes’ textbook
Pay attention to general essays rather than type studies
Always correlate things from evolutionary viewpoint -Draw as many diagrams and flow charts as possible
    Students should cover all theories.
In chordate description, compare the phyla phylogenetically and anatomically.
Comparative anatomy diagrams should be coloured.

    Section B

The most scoring parts are Economic Zoology, Bio Stats and Bio Instrumentation.
Students need to focus on topics related to developments in India in Economic Zoology.

    Tips for Zoology Paper II

    Section A

To prepare Cell Biology and Genetics, students need to follow the same advice as provided for these two topics in Botany. However, you need to correlate cellular processes with human physiology and human disease conditions.
In Genetics, student should also mention the possible human welfare applications.
Peripheral questions are generally not asked.

    Section B

    Biochemistry and Physiology
Practical Bio-chemical pathway with structural formula of molecules are important.
Prepare from medical bio-chemistry and physiology books.
Represent most information through flow charts.
    Always draw relevant anatomical diagrams.
    Development Biology
If physiology and biochemistry are prepared thoroughly, then this part can be prepared only for short notes.
Colored drawings are a must. Students need to practice them properly.
