Do we need to do questions of ies,,cds ,nda and other upsc exams for prelims or not

Since websites like examrobot show that so many questions of these exams get repeated in ias exam, so please clarify if we need to do questions from these and if yes; then what is the time range for which questions need to be done.........

  • Try to solve them. Some questions are exactly repeated. Some are modified and then asked.

There's is no harm in doing them. Don't care about time range. Solve as many as possible.

Also make notes of what you gained new. Revise them again and again.

I think as per this report https://neostencil.com/ese-ies-exam/ the patterns for exams like UPSC CSAT, IES , CGL and even Bank exams change pretty regularly. So I dont think there is any point in doing previous years question papers of the last 20 years or something. The levels of the questions of even 6 years back are much simpler than what they are today. So i think it only makes sense to study the last few years may be 3 to 5 years question papers. The cut off and the level of questions were far to easy before that and is not of much use in the present times. That is my personal opinion.
