  • Has anyone analysed in regards of number of questions that have appeared ? Is it true that in upsc prelims last year vision ca didnot yield enough ?

infact vision was the decider between those who wrote the mains and who didn't

For Prelims and Mains combined, I will suggest Insights Current affairs and Insights Secure.
These will suffice. Even Vision IAS sometimes pick questions from Insights Website.
But Vision Prelims test series is good though. Atleast for prelims.
Do not go for IASbaba. Its compilation is not good.

  • Insights vs GKtoday current affairs. Which one is better.

Planning to do Insights+Vision or GKtoday+Vision based on opinion.

  • Last year vision pt 365 compilation proved to be immensely helpful in prelims. However they come late in the market somewhere around one month before exam. Go for it if you can manage, better ROI.

Planning gktoday + vision. (July'16 onwards)

If someone has monthly compilations of gktoday, please do post. Cant seem to find them through mobile.

Lot of unnecessary stuff. He is somewhat stuck in the old era despite adapting quite a lot. Plus, material is too large. For pre, stick to new age players.

  • vision PT365..
    Prelims - 2, Mains - 1, Interview - 0.

    Optional philosophy, Chomu-philosopher + Chomu-engineer!

  • Today browsed through gktoday january edition... Decent enough compilation... we can skip the persons in news, sports etc. which are irrelevant in upsc...
    ·
  • I think we should also have a look on new current affairs website BestCurrentAffairs.com...................They are also providing nice content for ias prelims..........(Kisi ke pass FULL notes hai ton kindly upload it here)
